PhosLab Environmental Services Inc. (PES) formerly PhosLab Inc., was established in 1965 to service the local phosphate industry. It was founded by George Fernandez Sr., former Laboratory at Borden, Inc., and is now under the care of George Fernandez, Jr., President. PES’s continuous ownership under the Fernandez Family has closely guarded the trust and confidence of its clients. PES is a minority owned laboratory and today is regarded as a full-service, analytical laboratory and environmental service facility that is organized and equipped to serve the three business segments: environmental, developmental, and industrial

Environmentally, it complements the functions of environmental engineering firms that are actively involved in performing phase I & II IRAS, CARS, RAPS, risk assessment, permitting and other site assessments/remedial activities. Developmentally, it is well suited to pursue projects requiring its vast array of experience in process chemistry and separation sciences. Industrially, PES works with numerous companies to maintain permit compliance testing, solve process chemistry problems, site discharge issues and other permitting issues that may arise throughout these operations.

In order to remain on the cutting edge of the environmental analytical industry, PES holds leadership positions in the following organizations.
