Phoslab Environmental Service & Environmental Analytical Laboratory
PhosLab Environmental Services Inc. (PES) formerly PhosLab Inc., was established in 1965 to service the local phosphate industry. It was founded by the late George Fernandez Sr., and is now under the care of George Fernandez, Jr. Phoslab Environmental Services is a minority owned laboratory based in Lakeland, Florida. Phoslab Environmental Services is regarded as a full-service, analytical laboratory and environmental services facility, that is organized and equipped to serve the three business segments: environmental, developmental, and industrial.
Phoslab Environmental Services is certified and accredited by the State of Florida Department of
Health, recognized for accreditation by NELAP, and approved by the State
Surgeon General.
Phoslab Environmental Services complements the functions of environmental engineering
firms that are actively involved in performing phase I & II IRAS, CARS, RAPS,
risk assessment, permitting and other site assessments/remedial activities.
Developmentally, Phoslab Environmental Services is well suited to pursue projects requiring process chemistry and separation sciences. Industrially, Phoslab Environmental Services
works with numerous companies to maintain permit compliance testing, solve
process chemistry problems, site discharge issues and other permitting issues.
